Fredonia’s counseling center serves 17 percent of its student population. That means that for every five people you know, one of them is going to the counseling center on a semi-regular basis. That’s about 1,000 people.
1,000 people, and yet a fear still exists that you’ll be judged for walking into the counseling center. It’s hard for me to wrap my head around.
If you think you might need to go to the counseling center, just go. You won’t look back in ten years and think, “Boy, that was a stupid decision.”
