Two ways to skip class

If you only want a high-paying job after college, then yes, you might be better off skipping class. I know lots of people who skipped frequently but still got lucrative salaries because of a family connection or internship. Their GPA’s didn’t matter.

But if you want to be effective in your job after college, and if you want to be creative in your job after college, then you’re better off showing up to class and saying, “teach me.”

And if you’re only in class to jump through hoops–to do the homework, take the test, and get an ‘A’–you might as well be skipping. In fact, you might want to rethink why you’ve enrolled in the first place.
